Yuva Vikas Kendra: Uniting for a Stronger Rural Tomorrow

Empowering Jharkhand’s Communities with Knowledge, Skills, and Sustainable Growth

Who We Are

We are committed to uplifting rural Jharkhand and fostering a future where every community thrives with dignity and self-governance.

At Yuva Vikas Kendra (YVK), we partner with local communities, elected representatives, and government agencies to deliver training and resources that promote self-reliance and sustainable development. Our mission is to drive transformative change through capacity building, skill development, and community mobilization.

With a focus on empowering women, youth, and panchayati raj functionaries, we provide the knowledge and tools needed to enhance livelihoods, strengthen local governance, and build resilient communities.

What We Do

01.

We Strengthen Panchayati Raj Institutions

Yuva Vikas Kendra empowers elected representatives and functionaries of Panchayati Raj through targeted training programs. We equip them with the skills and knowledge to drive village development, enhance local governance, and implement sustainable initiatives under schemes like Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan.

02.

We Promote Livelihood Through Skill Development

We provide vocational training, skill development programs, and SHG training to foster economic independence. Our initiatives, supported by organizations like JSDMS and DRDA, focus on empowering rural youth, women, and marginalized communities to build sustainable livelihoods.

03.

We Support Sustainable Agriculture and Watershed Management

Yuva Vikas Kendra offers training in modern agricultural practices and watershed management. Through partnerships with JJY and NABARD, we help farmers adopt sustainable techniques, improve productivity, and conserve water resources for long-term rural resilience.

04.

We Foster Community Mobilization

We engage communities through SHGs, CBOs, and volunteer networks to drive collective action. Our community mobilization efforts encourage participation in development projects, strengthen social cohesion, and empower rural Jharkhand to take charge of its growth.

05.

We Enhance Education and Training Infrastructure

Through our Kasturba Gandhi Girls High School and PMKVY Training Centre, we provide formal and skill-based education. Yuva Vikas Kendra aims to improve literacy, vocational skills, and opportunities for rural youth and women to secure brighter futures.

06.

We Empower Women and Marginalized Groups

Women’s empowerment is central to our mission. We offer SHG training, livelihood programs, and capacity-building initiatives to promote gender equality and enable women and marginalized groups to actively contribute to community development.
